Last day for HSMP on 29 June 2008

The last day for the UK's Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) will be on Sunday, 29 June 2008. All people who are resident outside the UK (excluding India) may consider applying under the HSMP while they can still take advantage of some of its easier requirements.

If the documentation is ready, please send all documents to the workpermit.com Head Office at 11 Bolt Court, Fleet Street, London EC4A 3DQ, UK.

The HSMP allows people with the right criteria to immigrate to the United Kingdom without needing a prior job offer. The HSMP is a points based system which score applicants based upon factors such as age, past earnings, qualifications, and experience previously earned in the UK.

The Highly Skilled Migrant Programme has been very successful since its introduction in 2002; however, the UK's new five-tier points based system will cover all highly skilled immigration into Britain on and after 30 July 2008.

Under Tier 1 of the new points based system, highly skilled migrants will have stricter English language requirements, among other changes. For those who wish to take advantage of the HSMP's easier requirements, now is the time!

If you are interested in applying under the HSMP and have the relevant documentation available, please send an email to hsmp@workpermit.com. To assist people in getting their HSMP applications in on time, the workpermit.com London office will be open on Saturday and Sunday.
